Presentation

NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research– is a national R&D institute under the Norwegian Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The goal of the Institute is to contribute to food security, sustainable resource management, innovation and value creation through research and knowledge production within food, forestry and other biobased industries. The Environment and Natural resources division that will be involved in the I-SoMPE project has been a partner in several EU funded projects. NIBIO led WP2 of the RECARE project on remediation strategies for soil degradation at the European scale, and is partner in the ongoing SOILCARE project on identifying and testing of soil improving cropping systems.
